What Exactly Do You Teach Here At Practice Warriors? Is It Just How To Practice?

The main goal of Practice Warriors is to teach people of all ages and skill levels how to create an environment in their lives where they can practice consistently and effectively. This is what the 14-Unit Masterclass focuses on.

Once a consistent practice ritual is established, then our Practice Warriors can focus on the Musicianship videos for specific musical skills to work on, the Rockstar Q&A videos for tips and inspiration, the Assemble forums and Live Q&A to get any questions answered, the Resource page and other fun elements of this site.

What Exactly Are The Musicianship Videos?

Videos under the Musicianship title are short lesson videos that give our Warriors very specific and vital (but often overlooked) skills to work on. These videos are grouped in the following way:

The Big 3. We consider Scales, Chords/Arpeggios, and Reading to be the top 3 things musicians work on. The videos under The Big 3 focus on improving your skills in these areas. The Scales section is itself broken down into Scales and Melodic Phrasing.
Deepen Your Playing. These videos are broken down into the sections Dynamics/Articulations and Rhythm/Timing. Dynamics could be considered the way you play notes and rhythms to discover your own unique musical voice. The Timing section helps our Warriors develop and improve their sense of groove within music.
Drums. While drummers can also benefit from the other types of Musicianship videos, we have a unique section just for them.
Tips/Inspiration. These cool videos discuss additional practice techniques, inspiring stories, peals of wisdom, specific strategies and other topics to get our Warriors excited about their own musical self-improvement.
Bonus Footage. Whether it's footage that was edited out of the Masterclass, behind the scenes footage of creating the music or videos in the site, or just fun extras, there's a lot of great content in these videos that were saved from the cutting room floor.

How Often Is New Content Added?

All the time!! First, you can look forward to LIVE Q&A sessions every month. Second, member and staff posts in the ASSEMBLE Forum are quite active, so you'll want to check those regularly. Third, you'll see a brand new, exclusive Rockstar Q&A interview added every few weeks. Fourth, video lessons and other footage in the Musicianship section are added regularly as well. You'll always have something new and exciting to learn about here at Practice Warriors!

Can Non-Members Have Access To Practice Warriors Content?

Unfortunately no. Only active Practice Warriors have access to all the incredible, regularly updated content here on the site. Once someone cancels their subscription, they no longer have access to Practice Warriors.

As A Member, How Do I Download My Masterclass Workbook and Practice Log?

At your membership dashboard, you will click on the video link for "Welcome To The Practice Warriors Masterclass". Under the video, you will see where you can download many versions of the materials. You can either physically print them out or fill in your information on your device. We love cool options!!
